Raised on tough terrain in Eldorado, Koy Ranch goats stand up to the challenges of Texas outback or they don't stay on to breed—only the best are kept.

At Koy Ranch, we care a lot for our goats. But we also understand how a hard cull is the best way to keep our herd among the strongest in the country. Any breeding stock we sell is good enough to meet our own high standards—the others earn their keep as slaughter goats.

We breed for conformation, mothering ability, tight udders, width of frame, width of horn placement, longevity, hardiness, ability to forage, and uniformity of color.
